Hello

I'm Heather Laurie Porter and I come from a highly creative family including sculpture, advertising, photography and architecture. I got my BA and All-American Swimmer title from Cal State Northridge, and have been a Professional Designer since 1990. While working in the Corporate World and the Entertainment Business I have gained the ability to understand the clients needs, design accordingly, and have some fun. I strive to attain stunning yet functional pieces. I design within an established brand or create new identities. I have been back in Lake Tahoe since 2005, enjoying being with my family and the great outdoors.

Google Slides, Wordpress, iMovie.
Photography - I'm not a pro but I have a passion for it and I use a lot of my own photography in my designs.

I worked full-time and freelance for this Incline Village, NV marketing/advertising agency.
• Design and production of identity, advertising, direct mail, email marketing, outdoor, presentations, websites, programming and more.
• Clients include: North Lake Tahoe Co-op, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, Granlibakken Tahoe, Tahoe Transportation District, Divine Nine, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, V&T Railroad and more.

GOLD'S GYM INTERNATIONAL
1997 - 2004
Senior Designer - Marketing Dept.
I worked full-time in the corporate office in Venice, CA.
• Produce all marketing materials for 45 corporate gyms. Direct mail, ads, posters, flyers, brochures, sales binders, including internal pieces for all corporate departments.
• Produce yearly binder of all materials for Franchisee usage. Create multi platform templates. Implemented Job numbers and organization of graphics department.
• Vendor relations.

1990 - 1995

I worked full-time in Burbank, CA.
• Design and production of all components for musical releases; including CD, video and soundtrack packaging, advertising and POP merchandising.
